How versioning works
Every policy carries a version number, a last-updated date, and a summary of what changed. Published versions are never edited in place — a correction becomes a new version — because silently rewriting text a founder has already read or accepted would destroy the record of what was actually agreed.
Previous versions stay available so you can see exactly what changed and when.
How we tell you
For material changes to a core policy we give at least 30 days' notice by email and in the app before they take effect. For clarifications and corrections that do not change your rights or obligations, we update the document and record it in the version history.
Where a change requires your agreement, we will ask for it explicitly rather than treating continued use as acceptance.
Reading draft status
Every document currently shows DRAFT — PENDING LEGAL REVIEW. That label is accurate: these documents describe our intended practice, have not completed legal review, and are not yet in force. Do not rely on them as a binding agreement until they are marked active with an effective date.
